alp QuikLift Cable Ring Clutch
ALP Cable Ring Clutches are reusable lifting hardware for the ALP QuikLift System. The reusable nature of the cable ring clutches often subject them to wear and tear and periodic impact loading. Lifespan of product is determined by the conditions in which they are used. Periodic inspection is required to ensure the safety of all users of this hardware. Users must determine an inspection program based on frequency of use. The ALP QuikLift Cable Ring Clutch may be exposed to mishandling, overloading, wear and any other factors that may contribute to adverse effects in cable ring clutches allowable load ratings. Thus, it is pertinent that the cable ring clutch is inspected by a designated person on a regular basis to evaluate it's general condition and degree of wear. Reference ASME B30.20-2018: Section 20-1.3. ALP QuikLift Cable Ring Clutches must be inspected immediately after returned from jobsite. Additional general inspections should be conducted periodically, depending on the frequency of use. ALP QuikLift Cable Ring Clutches that don't meet the below inspection criteria should be immediately discontinued from use and destroyed. Inspection documents should be filed for the life of the Ring Clutch.
